Hello Parents and Guardians
We are super excited to have you in our tumbling program this Monday! Please review the newsletter for additional details. If you have any questions before the program begins, feel free to reply to this email—I’ll be happy to help. Below, I’ve included answers to the most common questions:
Where do we park and enter?
Please use the back parking lot and back entrance of Honey Bowen. The front doors will be closed at 5pm due to business hours. Please see picture attached!
What should my child wear?
Since this is a physical, skill-based program, children should wear athletic clothing. Leotards or gymnastics uniforms are welcome, but a t-shirt and shorts work just as well.
Why can’t parents sit in on class?
To ensure the instructors have each child’s full attention, the doors and windows will remain closed during class. This helps maintain focus and safety in this skill-based program.
When can I watch my child tumble?
On the last day of class, we will host a Parent Showcase where families can see what their child has learned over the six weeks. Each family may bring up to five guests due to room capacity and building safety procedures.
What is the emergency protocol?
Parents are welcome to wait in the lobby, visit the playground, or run a quick errand during class. In case of emergency, instructors will step into the lobby to notify parents. Staff also have access to family contact information through the MyRec system if a phone call is needed.
What is the refund policy?
- A full refund is available until the end of the first week of the program. Requesting a refund during this time will also remove your child from the program.
- After the first week, a partial refund may be available, and your child will also be removed from the program at that time.
Tumbling Tips:
- Parents are encouraged to connect with instructors before or after class.
- Remember, this is a skill-based program focused on proper technique, form, and progression in tumbling.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up:
All children must be signed in and out by a parent, guardian, or authorized adult (age 18+). Please walk your child into the building at drop-off.
